Wash hands. Fill the clean bottle with 240ml of lukewarm distilled, sterile, properly filtered or previously boiled and cooled water; do not use untreated tap water. Add one packet, close and shake gently. Lean over a sink with the mouth open, place the tip against one nostril and squeeze gently so the solution flows through and exits the other nostril. Repeat on the opposite side, then clean and air-dry the device. Use a freshly prepared solution each time.
