It is intended for adults and children aged 12 years and over for the treatment of dandruff, scalp psoriasis and seborrhoeic dermatitis of the scalp. The coal-tar formula helps reduce flakes, itching and redness while slowing excessive skin-cell build-up, and leaves hair manageable after rinsing. This is a medicine for scalp use only and the patient leaflet must be read before use. Wet the hair thoroughly. Apply enough shampoo to produce a lather, massage into the scalp and leave in contact for several minutes according to the leaflet, then rinse thoroughly; repeat if directed. Use two or three times weekly or as stated in the patient leaflet for up to six weeks. Use only on the scalp, avoid eyes and broken skin, and seek medical advice if symptoms persist or irritation develops.
